The AstraNet range of fibre optic coupled spectrometers make excellent radiometers. AstraNet offers a high performance cosine corrected collector for point sources. This collector is simply connected to the end of a patch cord to collect light emitted by the source and a spectrum is displayed in real time.
Ideal for use by photobiologists to measure irradiance from light sources under controlled environments, these portable instruments give instant spectra of the light source and the AstraNet software includes the facility to report PAR values as well as irradiance in Watts/Metre squared.
